Friends of the Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami Fundraising EventTuesday, May 21, 7pm – Freixas Residence, 2317 SW 23rd Street, Miami

A private fundraising event to meet and greet of the newest ballet stars and cast members of the best of the classical repertoire featuring former Cuban National ballet dancers Ania Ruiz Diaz, Victor Santana, Randy Crespo, Arianni Martin, Edward Morgado, Josue Justice and Analay Saiz. Artistic Director Pedro Pablo Peña.  Cocktail reception and live piano performance by Isaac Rodriguez, benefiting Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami – “The Best of Classical Repertoire”. Minimum suggested contribution is $100 per person. Each contribution will receive a complimentary ticket to the May 25th performance. All contributions are “tax deductible to the full extent of the IRS law”.

Back by popular demand, Dishcrawl is returning once again to dive deeper into Brickell’s bustling dining scene and taste more of what this exciting area has to offer. Last Dishcrawl was a huge success and took the area by storm so now are back featuring other amazing Brickell eateries. Join on Tuesday, May 21, 4 local establishments for one memorable night of incredible food and great company. It’s a guessing game! Top middle and high school NFTE students will present business plans for their companies at the NFTE South Florida Youth Bizplan Challenge where they will be judged by a prestigious panel and an audience of top industry and educational leaders. These students have each completed NFTE’s entrepreneurship curriculum and will be competing for a chance to move on to the National Competition in New York. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with networking, a reception and buffet dinner, followed by the competition from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Suggested contribution is $25 to support NFTE South Florida’s Young Entrepreneurs Scholarship Fund.

David Armstrong, Jr., Robert W. Runcie, the Rotary Club of Fort Lauderdale and Jonathan and Sherry Hage. This exclusive event will benefit Take Stock in Children, a statewide non-profit organization that provides scholarships, mentors and hope to low-income at-risk youth. The Galleria’s Spring for Education will launch Take Stock in Children’s Top 100 Honor Roll Society fundraising initiative.
