“Introspection and Awakening” Reception and Lecture

Introspection and Awakening: Japanese Art of the Edo and Meiji Period, 1615-1912 will open with a preview lecture and reception at Lowe Art Museum. Curated by Museum Director and Chief Curator Brian A. Dursum, the exhibition features 225 mixed media works and is drawn entirely from the permanent collection of the Lowe Art Museum. The exhibit will feature paintings, sculpture, prints, ceramics and lacquer from the 17th through the early 20th centuries. Admission is $10; $5 for seniors and non-UM students; and free for Lowe Art Museum members, UM students, faculty and staff and children under 12.
