As high-end retail hits new highs in sales, branding and allure, recognizable names are increasingly coveted in Miami’s most affluent shopping circles. Similar to a fashion show, Artefacto presents its highly anticipated second annual Design House, showcasing internationally renowned designer compositions with the brand’s newest collections. Starting July 1st the Design House vignettes will line the windows of Artefacto’s Coral Gables showroom at The Village of Merrick Park. The 16 handpicked masters will unveil renditions of 12 living rooms, bedrooms and outdoor spaces, utilizing hundreds of new pieces from new lines, including Briggs Solomon for Artefacto, Artefacto Basic and Artefacto’s Anniversary Collection. In collaboration with the Artefacto’s in-house team, each showcases new styles reflecting an influence from international and multi-cultural inspirations, along with current design trends and elements, such as organic wood and glass combinations, polished stainless steel, leather pieces and natural fibers. This years’ 16 designers are Pepe Calderin, Briggs Solomon, Alison Antrobus, Ruby Ramierz, Valeria Lopes, Luciana Fragali, Mirtha Arriaran, Stanley Matz, Cristina Souza, Monica Souza, Marisol Pinto, Javier Soto, Jessica Garcell-Gomez, Susy Acosta, Raquel Mothe and Daniela Pimenta.
