Check out the first-ever Miami Performance International Festival, an exclusive four-day contemporary art event featuring established and emerging artists from around the globe. Live performances, visual art installations, and artist lectures are split between two locations. Start at the Botanical Gardens, where David Prusko chats about his street art pieces. Then hit up the Miami Design District, checking out Cristy Almaida’s eerie shadow video installations. After being bombarded by Natalie Alfronso’s massive clay sculptures, you’ll then engage in a live performance by Marc Holt — entrapping you with his freaky balloon fetish.
