The PGA Tour’s World Golf Championships- Cadillac Championship will be held at Trump Doral from March 6th to March 10th. The PGA TOUR has played in Doral for more than 50 years, and to restore it to its former grandeur, The Trump Hotel Collection™ purchased Miami’s iconic Doral Golf Resort & Spa to facilitate a $200 million renovation. The yearly event hosts the best golfers from across the globe, and this year, it will also extend the entertainment with: Live On The Green Charity Social Weekend. The nightly events will be filled with fashion and music to add a fun flare to the Championship.
On March 8, Miami Heat’s very own DJ Irie, will host and provide the music for a runway show featuring the summer looks by celebrity designer Nicolas Felizola. Felizola, who has been featured in various publications as one of the 100 most Outstanding Artists of the 21st Century, is a go-to designer for Hispanic entertainers, artists and jet-setters. The fashion show will benefit the Irie Foundation, an organization that seeks to improve the lives of South Florida’s youth, through educational and extracurricular opportunities.
On March 9, the excitement of the entertainment-filled weekend continues with a performance by Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas. Taboo, a multi-platinum American hip hop artist, has sold out arenas all over the world and accrued millions of fans because of his high energy performances. The benefiting charity from the concert will include the Little Dreams Foundation, which seeks to fulfill the dreams of young talent pursuing music, sports and the arts.
Guests attending the Cadillac Championship event throughout the day will get a general admission ticket to the weekend events. However, anyone can purchase VIP tickets, that include full open bar, access to the VIP lounge area and to the exclusive after parties, for the fashion show and concert.
