#Seizethenight Where Fashion + Music Collide at Soho Beach HousePosted on: July 19th, 2014 by Sarah Klein
Sieze the Night at Soho Beach House was hands down one of the most fun events of the weekend! The night featured a fashion show by Bianca Colletti and Jacques Smith, complementary Desperados beer, and a surprise performance by HeartsRevolution. Kicking off at 9pm or so, guests were greeted by the beautiful Desperado girls to play a bit of spin the wheel. Depending on where it stopped, the girls made a variety of different shots with the Tequila flavored beer and products like tobacco and chili peppers.
Bianca Colletti began the show with signature looks of classic European inspired silhouettes and small cut bottoms. Colletti’s original prints and flattering cut outs set her aside as both an artist and designer. The acclaimed lines boho vibes evoke a sense of playful, carefree, and youthful spirit perfect for frolicking beaches of Miami to Ibiza. HeartsRevolution preformed live on the runway complete with a bedazzled guitar really amping the crowd up and getting people grooving.
Jacques Smith, artist and designer originally hailing from Middle America closed last night’s event with quite the bang. Premiering looks for his 2015 collection of quirky and fun looks with his signature embroidery and eye graphics. Models came out dancing draped in robes with hanging tentacles mirroring the ones on their hands. The robes had great movement and provided the extra wow factor when they revealed their looks at the bottom of the runway. At the end of the show models surprised everyone by dropping their party clothes and jumping into the floaty filled pool. All in all everybody seemed to have an awesome and fun experience.
