Italian Al Fresco Feast Hosted by Debi Mazar & Gabriele CorcosThursday, February 19, 7pm-10pm – Beachside at Delano, Entrance at 1 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach

The 2015 South Beach Wine & Food Festival kicked-off with Ronzoni’s pasta 100th Birthday bash & Italian Al Fresco Feast, sponsored by MIAMI magazine and hosted by the culinary power duo of all things Italian from Cooking Channel, Debi Mazar and Gabriele Corcos. Italian Al Fresco Feast on the sand showcased more than 30 chefs serving up mouth-watering fare behind the Delano Hotel.

The country’s most dynamic chefs used this opportunity to showcase some of their finest Italian offerings. Attendees enjoyed some of the favorite Italian-American dishes – whether its white sauce, red sauce, perfectly aged Parmigiano-Reggiano, broccoli rabe, or any number of specially crafted pastas with classic or modern twists, all while sipping on wines from Folonari Amore Italia, StrongBow Hard Apple Cider, Amstel Light, Coca-Cola, Fiji Water, or Illy Caffe.

  • Bill Bruening (Fork & Balls) Short Rib Stuffed Meatball with Creamy Polenta and Porcini Sauce
  • Charles Compagnucci (The Phil’s Tavern) Nunni’s Ravioli – Baked Cheese Ravioli with mozzarella, fontina and pecorino romano served with broccoli rabi and sweet sausage olive oil and garlic
  • Gabe Thompson (Dell’anima) Chicken diavalo with spicy broccoli rabe
  • Marcie Turney (Little Nonna’s) Sunday Gravy, South Philly Style rigatoni with nonna’s pork gravy, sausage & broccoli rabe
  • Tony Mantuano (Spiaggia) Hand-rolled potato gnocchi with langoustine, baccala, Controne pepper, lemon
  • Alon Shaya (Domenica) cavatelli verde with braised oxtail and chicken liver
  • Paolo Dorigato (Dolce Italian) Seafood risotto acquerello risotto,shrimp, sepia,calamari, scallops,spicy seafood sauce
  • Daniel Holzman (The Meatball Shop) Spicy Pork Meatballs with Spicy Meat Sauce over Creamy Polenta
  • Fabio Viviani (Siena Tavern) Wagyu Beef Meatball and Farro Siena Chopped Salad
  • Michael Bennett (Laurenzos Gourmet Italian Market) Laurenzo’s Homemade Italian “Donnie Brasco” Sausage; Laurenzo’s San Gennaro Zeppoles
  • Israel Mora (Tamarina) Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli topped with a sage butter sauce
  • Carla Pellegrino (Touche Restaurant) Insalatina tiepida di Polipo – Lukewarm Octopus, yukon potatoes and fava beans in fine herbs marinate
  • Fulvio Sardelli (Sardellis Italian Steakhouse) Hand rolled Cavatelli with braised veal shank
  • Louie Bossi (Louie Bossi) Porchetta – Traditional Italian roasted pork with garlic and herbs; Strozzapreti – Pasta San Marzano tomato sauce
  • Ralph Scamadella (Lavo New York) Mini Burratini with Spicy copacola and Caponata
