The 2nd annual Miami Beach Concours, at the Miami Beach Golf Club was a celebration of the exotic and racing automobiles, and this year’s lineup included some of the world’s finest collections: $19 million Ferrari 250 California, a $3 million Lamborghini Miura SV and a $6 million 1967 Ford Shelby GT500 Convertible. Guests also enjoyed a live DJ entertainment, an F1 simulator competition with a $10,000 cash prize, food fare, and the premiere showcase of prized collector cars.
“Best in Show” honors were determined by a celebrity judges and concours panel consisting of: the former chief test driver of Lamborghini Valentino Balboni, stunt driver Greg Trahcy, a semi-retired Brazilian automobile racing driver and Master of Ceremonies Emerson Fiitipaldi, and awards were presented by the Italian engineer, designer and businessman, Paolo Pininfarina. A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit the Lone Survivor Foundation and honorary guest Marcus Luttrell, the former Navy Seal portrayed by Mark Wahlberg in the film Lone Survivor.
