Arts for Learning 15th Anniversary GalaPosted on: September 24th, 2016 by SoFlaNights.com
For 15 years, Arts for Learning, a Miami-based nonprofit advancing teaching and learning through the arts, has reached more than 117,000 underserved children and youth. In celebration of its 15th anniversary, Arts for Learning hosted “The Chance to Create,” the Rat Pack era of Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis, Jr. themed gala, to help bring additional arts education and programs to children across South Florida.
Prominent philanthropists, socialites and art members of the South Florida community joined to support Arts for Leaning, arts education and programming. The exciting evening featured a special performance by some of Miami’s brightest jazz stars including Grammy nominated percussionist Sammy Figueroa. Joining Figueroa on stage to play tribute to iconic jazz artists will be singer and vocalists Nicole Henry, Lenard Rutledge and Big Brooklyn Red. #A4LTheChanceToCreate
