DÔA [ DOW – AH ] means “The Door” in Japanese is the newest venture from globally renowned restaurateur Arjun Waney, cofounder of Zuma, Coya, La Petite Maison and The Arts Club. DÔA features a central island bar, DJ booth, lounge area, maki counter and an outdoor terrace on Collins Avenue.
An Asian Cantina concept, DÔA is a neighborhood eatery serving high quality LatAsian cuisine featuring flavors unique to Asian influenced cooking born in Latin America. The kitchen at DÔA is headed by Chef Carlos Estarita, and offers a fusion of largely Peruvian food featuring a strong Chinese and Japanese influence, with plenty of other pan-Asian touches mixed in. The menu will consist of shared raw, steamed and robata grilled signature dishes showcasing Nikkei, Chifa and Peruvian flair.
