ME Miami Art Exhibit ft. Kurosh Yahyai, Eva Struble, & Leonardo HidalgoPosted on: April 20th, 2017 by SoFlaNights.com
Join ME Miami as it celebrates 3 emerging artists with a weekend-long art exhibition displaying their unique, defining work. The weekend starts off with an opening night private cocktail reception on Thursday, April 20 from 7-9pm. The weekend continues with an open to the public exhibit from Friday April 21 – Sunday April 23, from 10am – 8pm. About the artists:
• Kurosh Yahyai – Yahyai is an international artist living and working in San Diego. His work focuses on the idea of the self, where the figure is used either visually abstracted or representationally.
• Eva Struble – Born in Elsmere, Kentucky, Struble has been a full-time faculty in painting and printmaking at San Diego State University since 2011. Her current painting series explores a makeover of her domestic and every day institutional spaces in transformation with the suggestion or trace of figures in each.
• Leonardo Hidalgo – Hailing from Ecuador, Hidalgo is now a Miami-based leading artist, whose style is a mix of fine-art with a street art sensibility.
