– What inspired the blue collection?
My three weddings, my love of celebration and the idea of “happily ever after”.
– How do you remain ahead of the trend while staying true to your personal preferences?
Ahead of what trend? I just do what I like for myself and make things I like to wear!
– How can young women continually evolve their look without breaking the bank?
How you look is not at all about how much you have in your pocket, its about how you portray your personal style with what you have. Wear what you like and enjoy looking like you want!
– What made you want to be part of the show?
I feel like I’m the prom queen and I actually was the prom queen! I love designing prom dresses more than anything and when I heard about the great charity involved, there was no way I could say no.
– What other collections do you have in the works?
I always have something up my sleeve, I love being creative. Most recently I’ve been very into travel, interiors, home and design. Ive been working on a special project that I can not wait to tell everyone about. I’ve also been doing some writing, I love staying busy!
– Tips for honing in on your style?
Relax. Be comfortable. Enjoy the way you look. You always look your best when you feel good in what you wear.
– Favorite thing about Miami fashion?
The swimsuits! I actually don’t know much about Miami fashion because every time I’m here the sun is out and the suits are on!
