You are welcome to bring your own blanket or chair. Pets are not permitted inside the venue.

The diverse and authentic Caribbean Jerk traditions are the key ingredients that event producer, Full-A-Vybez, Inc. has prepared for the quintessential 14th annual 1-800-411-PAIN Palm Beach Jerk and Caribbean Culture Festival. This year’s festival includes talented culinary personalities who will take center stage to compete for the Caribbean’s top culinary honors. Attendees will have an opportunity to indulge in succulent dishes and tasty libations, music, and more. To bring the diversity of the islands to West Palm Beach, the event promoters have recently added the Taurus Riley, Agent Sasco aka Assassin, Wayne Wonder and Veteran Half Pint who will power up the Main Stage throughout the day.

The festival honors the cultural richness, heritage and flavor that the Caribbean Jerk Seasoning lends to food and traditions. The dizzying variety of Caribbean Jerk can be found in the many food offerings that include succulent Jerk Lobster, Juicy Jerk Chicken, the Spicy Jerk Shrimp, the Sensational Smoked Jerk Pork and the popular Jerk Ice Cream. For the young and young at heart, the day party within the Jerk Fest dubbed the Jerk Explosion Party Pavilion, is sure to entertain. PAMMs Memorial Day BBQ

Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) kicks off its participation in Blue Star Museums with a Memorial Day BBQ. Enjoy live music and barbecue food and refreshments on the terrace, as well as a special appearance by Coast Guard Air Station Miami. Visitors can explore the exhibitions inside the iconic museum or relax on the bayside steps. Free admission to active duty military personnel, veterans and family members. Admission: $16 for adults, PAMM members free. Admission does not include food/drink. Members bring membership card for quick entry.


World OutGames Miami 2017

The World OutGames, the 10-day event that will bring to life 34 sports and more than 450 events across the areas of Sport, Culture and Human Rights. Thousands of athletes, participants, spectators and thought leaders from around the globe will converge on Miami for World OutGames IV to be held Friday, May 26 through Sunday, June 4, 2017.

Every four years, World OutGames brings together LGBT athletes, many from countries where homosexuality remains illegal and hidden. In the spirit of true inclusiveness, the World OutGames are open to all, regardless of sexual orientation. Registration is open to anyone 18 and older. However, a specific youth program for those between the ages of 14-17 will be coordinated in partnership with Pridelines Youth Services, a Miami based not-for-profit which offers a safe place for LGBT youth, adults and allies.

The World OutGames Miami 2017 Opening Ceremony will be Saturday 27 May 2017 starting at 8:00pm EST at beautiful Marlins Park, home of Major League Baseball’s Miami Marlins.The World OutGames Miami 2017 Closing Ceremony will be Saturday 3 June 2017 starting at 8:00pm EST at beautiful Marlins Park, home of Major League Baseball’s Miami Marlins. “Films on the Beach” 2017

The 4th edition of the French film festival “Films on the Beach”, dedicated this year to “French Teen Spirit” is the place to nurture your teenage soul! “Films on the Beach” is presented by the French Embassy Cultural Services and City of Miami Beach Arts in the Parks, in partnership with Miami Beach Cinematheque, O Cinema, Faena Art, with the support of TV5Monde, Miami Dade County, the City of Miami Beach, Unifrance, Institut français, the France Florida Foundation for the Arts, and Barton & Guestier.

Through traditional Open Air Screenings program at Miami Beach Soundscape held every Tuesday of May at 8.30pm, you will get a sense of French teen spirit from the 60’s to nowadays. Four different French movies, each from a different time, will take you back experiencing social or political challenges at school, feeling the atmosphere of Summer vacation in the Bretagne or in the South of France, or experiencing the French Kiss. Special screenings will take place on Sundays at Miami Beach Cinematheque and for the first time at O Cinema and Faena Bazaar. A closing reception will take place on May 28 at 7.30 pm at Faena Bazaar, presenting Olivier Babinet’s latest movie, Swagger, (2016) at 8.30pm.. Admission is free.
