Carrying on the tradition of old-time, pre-bluegrass string bands and songsters, they raise the roof with traditional folk songs, fiddle tunes, old-time country, bluegrass, Appalachian music, ragtime, blues, spirituals, railroad and cowboy songs, work songs, sea shanties, reels, breakdowns, ballads, and more. Call them what you will (crayfish, crawfish, crawdads, freshwater lobsters, mountain lobsters, mudbugs or yabbies), we will have plenty of them on Sunday, March 26th for our first ever crawfish boil on the front patio from our own Craft Food Counter & Kitchen. $20 gets you one core draft beer and a plate (1lb of crawfish, potatoes, corn and sausage). No pre-purchase or tickets required, just show up! #bayouatthebuddha #crawfishboil @funkybuddhabrew

VeritageMiami celebrates its 21st anniversary with four new dates in 2017, after the original dates were postponed due to Hurricane Matthew. The Auction & Bubbly Brunch will feature southern favorites from the 50 Eggs family of restaurants: Yardbird Southern Table And Bar, Swine Southern Table & Bar and Spring Chicken. The auction will offer one-of-a-kind experiences with proceeds benefiting United Way of Miami-Dade.

The Auction & Bubbly Brunch is just one of the four VeritageMiami events that bring South Florida’s food, craft beer and wine scene together for a world-class experience. Now celebrating its 21st year, VeritageMiami has raised millions of dollars to benefit United Way of Miami-Dade’s efforts in building a #StrongerMiamithrough education, financial stability and health. 13th Annual Deering Seafood Festival

13th Annual Deering Seafood FestivalSunday, March 26, 10am-6pm – Deering Estate at Cutler, 16701 SW 72nd Avenue, Miami

The centerpiece of the festival is a cornucopia of culinary delights featuring Florida’s freshest fish and seafood, with area restaurants and caterers providing sumptuous fare along Seafood Alley presented by Golden Rule Seafood.  Participants include Fancy Loaf – Antigua & Barbuda Association of South Florida, Catering by Les, Devon Seafood & Steak, Don Camaron Seafood Grill & Market, Golden Rule Seafood, Paella Party, Pubbelly Sushi, Station 5 Table & Bar, Tapanadas, and Sports Grill.  In addition, Chill-N, Totally Bananas, Gringa Flan and Wendy’s Chocolates are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth. Admission costs $15 in advance, $25 at the gate, and $5 for children aged 4 to 14.


8th Annual Wendy Walk

On March 26th, participants will walk together in a 5K around Hibiscus and Palm Island. The Wendy Walk was named after and created for Wendy Landes. The Wendy Walk was started in 2010, by Ali, 30, Matt, 30, and Jackie Landes, 25, in order to help raise awareness and proactively support their mom in her battle with Liposarcoma. Wendy’s relatives Michael, Stephanie, Kayla, Sierra, and Alec Rosen chair the Miami Beach event. #WendyWalkMiami @TheWendyWalk

Innergy Meditation is celebrating their official grand opening with complimentary guided meditation classes, lite bites and bubbly on Saturday, March 25th and Sunday March 26th. On Saturday, March 25th, guests will enjoy three different 30-minute guided meditation sessions: Chill30, Breathe30 and Mindful30 along with an open house brunch break to tour the studio. Following a similar program on Sunday, March 26th, participants will experience the Heart30 and Sound45 guided meditation classes accompanied with an open house brunch. This unique, community event is a sneak peek experience of the guided meditation programming locals can enjoy at the new Innergy Meditation studio opening in Miami Beach off Alton Road. Innergy’s new drop-in meditation studio will deliver all the physical, mental and emotional benefits of meditation minus the religious affiliations, philosophies and woo-woo. Innergy will feature both private options and group classes held seven days a week with a variety of class packages or pay as you go options. Classes are first come first serve.
