The Cabaret South Beach is set to honor Madonna for her birthday on Saturday, August 19th, (a few days after her actual birthday) from 8pm to 1am at the Shelborne South Beach. The Cabaret’s talented singing servers and bartenders sing music of all artists and genres. But, for this special event, they will adding Madonna’s hits including “Like a Prayer”, “Lucky Star”, “Express Yourself”, “Papa Don’t Preach”.  Lite bites and dinner menu from Top Chef alums Jeff McInnis and Janine Booth’s The Sarsaparilla Club are available to order. Bookleggers has made it five years. We are so proud to throw you all monthly book parties and build bookboxes around town for this last half decade. But most of all we want to throw a fun party with lots of books and funny things to do. Alongside Boxelder Craft Beer and Market, we will have air hockey, a weird snow machine, ice sculpting, a place to draw us love/hate messages, and a dunk tank. And of course, free books.

As always, entrance is free and everyone’s first book is free. We have made an eventbrite in hopes that some people might want to make a small donation to help Bookleggers Library continue operations. There is also an option to buy a ticket to enter the dunk tank yourself! (Full list of dunk tank suckers to follow.
