ArtServe is working with these partners on Open Canvas Project to revitalize the former One Stop Shop building at 301 North Andrews Avenue. We are inviting artists, local organizations, community members, and all interested parties to the first of two visioning charettes at ArtServe. Please join us to give your input and thoughts on the design, intention, development, and impact of the space. Let’s come together to deconstruct, transform, and reimagine urban space! Shooters Waterfront is casting a wider net to introduce new seafood menu items that put a sophisticated twist on coastal classics. Shooters is known for its high quality, yet affordable cuisine and exquisite views of the Intracoastal Waterway. The rstaurant features a fully stocked raw bar, made to order sushi, creative plates from land and sea, crispy flat breads and homemade desserts. The new summer offering features additions to the starter menu including the Veggie Roll, with toasted red and gold beets, fresh avocado, cucumber and carrots with sesame seared tofu, gazpacho and togarashi; Hummus and Tzatziki, a savory hummus and tzatziki duo made with roasted garlic, olives, lavash and tandoori. Enjoy the restaurant’s classic menu items with a new twist including the Crispy Calamari, now accompanied by homemade kimchi aioli; or the curry yogurt marinate and harissa-tomato sauce to spice up the menu favorite, Grilled Lollipop Lamb Chops.

New entrees include Maple-Bourbon Fried Chicken, juicy chicken breast served atop a jumbo waffle and accompanied by pickled cucumbers and warm maple syrup; Bucatini Mi Amore, a fresh array of sautéed shallots with garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, Kalamata olives, baby arugula, artichoke hearts, capers, basil and olive oil; Peri-Peri Roasted Chicken, South African barbeque-inspired slow-roasted chicken, marinated two days in a twelve spiced blend, served over sautéed spinach-chick peas, shallots and garlic; Fish and Chips, freshly caught Atlantic Cod or Red Snapper with tangy slaw, pickled radish, lime crema and elotes; Smoked Chipotle Mecco BBQ Grilled Skirt Steak, skirt steak cooked to perfection in a homemade smoked chipotle Mecco BBQ sauce, served with a zesty sambal mango chili slaw and crispy yucca steak fries; Orange Honey Glazed Salmon, fresh salmon cooked in a warm orange, honey glaze and served with Israeli couscous, baby spinach and sweet chili mango sauce, and Frutti Di Mare, made with squid ink spaghetti and a fresh selection of sautéed diver scallops, jumbo shrimp, calamari and lobster tail in a basil, lostermascaprone

Guests can indulge in the new Quinoa Salad, with a baby kale and spinach base, mixed with red onions, fresh tomatoes, cucumbers and apples, dressed in a homemade roasted poblano-garlic-yogurt ranch topped with toasted cauliflower crumbs; Roasted Beet Salad, red and gold beets with an assortment of local mesclun, heirloom and cherry tomatoes topped with toasted pumpkin seeds, pickled red onions, creamy herb goat cheese dressed in a white balsamic vinaigrette; or Shrimp Ceviche Salad, jumbo lump shrimp served with diced tomatoes, cucumbers and red onions and avocado with mesclun and bib lettuce dressed in a citrus marinade. Shooters’ new lunch entree, the Shrimp-Bacon-Avocado Club, features a triple decker club with grilled shrimp, bacon, fresh avocado and chipotle aioli.

The Pineapple Upside-down Rum Cake takes center stage on the dessert menu with homemade pineapple upside-down cake in a decadent caramel rum sauce and topped with brandied cherries. In addition, guests can quench their thirst with a new summer cocktail, the Aperol Rose Spritzer, with Listel sparkling rose wine, Aperol, fresh orange and raspberry. Each of the restaurant’s three artfully designed bars offer handcrafted cocktails, beer and an international selection of wines by the glass or bottle.
